Al Greig has been a member of the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Commissioners since 2008 and is currently serving as Chairman of the Board.

"Energy and water costs and availability play a critical role in economic development. I have had an ongoing interest in economic development in Southwestern Minnesota. MMU Board Membership provides the opportunity to contribute and play a role in continuing to provide energy and water costs that facilitate continued noteworthy economic development."

Stan has been employed with Wells Fargo Bank in Marshall for 27 years and has served as Bank President for 18 years. He is a graduate of Mankato State University with a degree in Business Finance. Stan has served 8 years on the Marshall Economic Development Authority and President of this organization for the past 4 years.

Additionally, Stan serves on the board of the Marshall Industries Foundation and is a member of the Industrial Development Committee of the Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce. Stan also has served on the board and as President of SMSU Foundation.


Mark Malingen has been a member of the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Commissioners since 2007.
"I look forward to serving the residents of Marshall in an effort to ensure utilities services that are affordable and reliable.  I consider it an honor to have been appointed to this position and view the duties of the Commissioner position very seriously."
 

Mark Malingen is a Multi-Site Manager for Bank of the West, a full service regional financial services company serving clients in 19 Western and Midwestern states. Mark oversees operations in the Marshall, Minneota and Ivanhoe branches. He has been employed in the financial services industry for over 25 years, the past 11 years with Bank of the West. Raised in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, Mark now lives in Marshall with his wife Stephanie and their son David. He is involved with the Marshall Chapter of Ducks Unlimited and the Marshall Sunrise Rotary Club, where he holds a Board position and the duties of Rotary Foundation Liaison for the Club. Mark is also a 2007 graduate of the Marshall Chamber of Commerce Leadership Academy. Mark is a graduate of Moorhead State University with a BS degree in Finance.


Don Edblom has been a member of the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Commissioners since 2003 and is currently servicng as Vice-Chairman of the Board.

"I have always been interested in Marshall Municipal Utilities. I will work hard to give good advice to MMU to help ensure our customers continue to receive great, reliable service."

Don has been employed at Becker Iron and Metal as their Office Manager for 27 years. Before serving on the MMU Board of Commissioners, Don served on the City Council Board for 8 years, served as the City Liaison for Marshall Municipal Utilities, and was on the Marshall Planning and Zoning Committee. In his spare time, Don enjoys golfing and traveling.


David Grong has been a member of the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Commissioners since 2004.

"I have always had a desire to serve on the Utilities Commission. I understand good business practices and have an understanding of how a utility effects a community and industry in terms of electrical power, it's generation, transmission, and usages."

David has been employed with Carlson & Stewart Refrigeration for 35 years.  David graduated from St Olaf College with a BA degree in physics.  He also graduated from Southwest MN State University with a BS degree in mechanical engineering.  David served in the US Air Force as a pilot for 5 1/2 years.  David has lived in Marshall for 47 years and has served on  the Airport Commission, Planning and Zoning Commission for 2 years, and the Southwest MN State University Foundation board.


Bill Ziegenhagen has been a member of the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Commissioners since 2010.
"I look forward to serving the Marshall Community on the MMU Board. My goals are to keep our electric and water services dependable and most importantly affordable for the residents and businesses of Marshall. I am always available to hear our Marshall residents concerns."

Bill has owned Marshall Small Engine in Marshall since 1986 and has lived in Marshall for 45 years. Bill graduated from Marshall High School in 1982 where he served as Class President. Following graduation, Bill enrolled in the Small Engine Technician Program at Alexandria Technical College. Bill enjoys getting involved in the Marshall Community and looks forward to learning more about MMU operations. Bill and his wife Tammy have two daughters, Kristi and Kara. In his spare time Bill enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time at Lake Miltona with his family and friends.
