Cindy Verschaetse has been a member of the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Commissioners since 2015 and is currently serving as Vice-Chairman of the Board.

"I have a passion for making Marshall a great place to live, work and raise a family. As a long time community member, Marshall has been very good to me and my family so any way I can give back with my time and talents to make it a place that people want to stay and live here I like to be a part of and try to make a difference."

Cindy is the Senior Vice President/Regional Retail Banking Manager at Bremer Bank in Marshall.


Sonya Kayser has been a member of the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Commissioners since 2016 and is currently serving as Chair of the Board.
"My family and I have lived in Marshall for the last 18 years and are proud to call Marshall our home. Marshall has been a great place to live, work and raise a family. Serving on the Utility Commission will give me an opportunity to serve and give back to a community that has been good to us. I am passionate about our community and I want to continue to see it grow and prosper."
 

Sonya Kayser is employed at Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center as a Human Resources Officer.


Scott Saugstad has been a member of the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Commissioners since 2013.

"I have always been interested in Marshall Municipal Utilities. I will work hard to give good advice to MMU to help ensure our customers continue to receive great, reliable service.""

Scott is employed at Archer Daniels Midland Company.


Bill Reilly has been a member of the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Commissioners since 2014.

"I believe the Utilities Commission has the ability to positively impact both the residents of Marshall, and those who work in Marshall. Prudent utility management and proactive communication can positively influence utility usage and long-term infrastructure needed to grow the community."

Bill is employed at The Schwan Food Company. Bill graduated from University of Wisconsin, Madison with a BS degree in Agricultural Economics. He also graduated from University of Chicago with an MBA in finance. Bill has been active in multiple national and local social organizations in Marshall..


Bill Ziegenhagen has been a member of the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Commissioners since 2010.
"I look forward to serving the Marshall Community on the MMU Board. My goals are to keep our electric and water services dependable and most importantly affordable for the residents and businesses of Marshall. I am always available to hear our Marshall residents concerns."

Bill is the CEO of Ziegenhagen Investments, LLC, and has lived in Marshall for over 45 years. Bill graduated from Marshall High School in 1982 where he served as Class President. Following graduation, Bill enrolled in the Small Engine Technician Program at Alexandria Technical College and later owned and operated Marshall Small Engine until selling the business in 2017. Bill enjoys getting involved in the Marshall Community and looks forward to learning more about MMU operations. Bill and his wife Tammy have two daughters, Kristi and Kara. In his spare time Bill enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time at Lake Miltona with his family and friends.
